Il arrive que les icônes de certains dossiers personnels (Documents, Musique, Images...) disparaissent et que le dossier retrouve l'icône d'un dossier standard. Cela arrive par exemple lorsque l’on change l’emplacement cible d'un de ces dossiers. Cela se produit lorsque le fichier caché desktop.ini à l'intérieur d'un dossier est supprimé, modifié, mal déplacé ou remplacé. Il suffit d'éditer le fichier desktop.ini (vous pouvez afficher en décochant « Masquer les fichiers protégés du système d’exploitation » dans les Options des dossiers) du dossier qui a perdu son icône (ou de le recréer, s'il a été supprimé, avec le Bloc-notes par exemple) et d'y remettre les paramètres suivants :

Lorsque vous avez copier/coller les paramètres pour un de vos dossier dans un bloc-notes il suffit de l’Enregistrer sous « desktop.ini ». Ensuite il ne vous reste plus qu’à allez dans les Propriétés du fichier ainsi crée et de cocher la case « Caché »
